The Clamcleat® MK2 Racing Junior is a neat, compact alloy cleat manufactured from aluminium for light weight and durable performance. The fairlead guides the rope into the teeth and the specially shaped base means it can be fitted to all flat and curved surfaces. The principle of the converging tapered grooves ensures grip without wear; simply lay the rope in the groove and it will automatically cleat under load, to release jerk upwards.
It is ideal for sailing, kitesurfing, sports equipment and industrial applications. It is also ideal for halyards and control lines on dinghies and kayaks.
Two finishes are available:
- C211MK2 has a silver stove enamel finish for a cost effective, high quality coating.
- C211MK2AN has a hard anodised finish to give a hard wearing surface.
