Fast-forward to 2018 and \u003cstrong\u003edreamweapon\u003c\/strong\u003e, the band, are continuing to keep the torch burning - perfectly embodying the timeless mantras of less is \u003cem\u003ealways\u003c\/em\u003e more and psychedelia as constantly-evolving pastiche.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMade up of 10,000 Russos bassist Andre Couto, \u003c\/span\u003eJoão Campos Costa\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eand \u003c\/span\u003eEdgar Moreira\u003cspan\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003edreamweapon\u003c\/strong\u003e emerged in 2009 and have since gone on to release one EP, their debut S\/T album and a handful of singles, whilst taking their immersive and unremitting live show around Europe. Made up of four improvised compositions recorded in one take at their Porto practice space, on February 16\u003csup\u003eth\u003c\/sup\u003e dreamweapon will be releasing their sophomore LP ‘SOL’.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOn ‘SOL’, whirrs of feedback and noise coalesce around droning, oscillating synths, samples and subtle cascading guitars, the only thing keeping the sparse soundscapes together being the incessant Krautrock rhythm with a seemingly endless motorik bassline that forces it’s way right to the back of your unconscious and the almost proto-punk minimalism of those programmed drum machines.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003eTalking of the creative approach behind ‘SOL’, Andre explains:\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e“We approached this album in a completely different way to our previous material. Firstly, we decided to record it ourselves which we’ve never done before and this opened up a lot more freedom to experiment and secondly, it’s our most truly-spontaneous record yet.
